Kids + Outside = Fun

Our 3rd annual Youth Outdoor Expo is coming up Saturday, May 3rd. We only have room for the first 125 kids from ages 6 to 15 who register, and the fun is free.

Kids Gone Wild!

There are still openings in our Adventure Camps for kids ages 8 to 12. We have camps for all interests, and even camps in other parks in the city!. The 2009 Summer Camp lineup is bigger than ever, so take a good long look and get ready for a summer of adventure!

Work and Play: No Dullness Here

Staying in the Hartley fun loop is as easy as pie. Our Wildflower Wandering and Wednesday Volunteer Nights make it simple to stay connected to the wonder that is Hartley Nature Center.

Camps For Big Kids

Our adult offerings continue to expand with opportunities to learn from the best in their fields. In late summer you can walk the woods with one of Minnesota's premiere naruralists and authors, Larry Weber. The Nature Primer begins August 20th

Get All "Native" With Us

Our first-ever festival that celebrates and educates about native plants is coming up on Saturday, August 22nd. Habitat Here! will give you a chance to learn much about the many benefits (to us and wildlife) of landscaping with the locals.

Trotting The Hartley Trails

Be a part of Hartley's first official trail run this fall. The Hartley Nature Trax will take you through deep woods, alongside streams and ponds, and to great heights. There are races for kids and a family challenge too!
