We are thrilled to announce that After School Nature Club will be returning for the 26-27 school year. This program has been deeply meaningful to our staff and community- we cannot wait to host new and returning families this coming school year.

Registration

Registration for After School Nature Club for the 2026-27 school year will open on Tuesday, April 28th at 8:30am. You may register  by following this link.

Schedule options:

• • Monday through Friday
  • Tuesday/Thursday
  • Monday/Wednesday

Prices

Monday through Friday: $346.23 per month, per child
M/W: $143 per month, per child
T/TH: $152 per month, per child

These prices are determined by cost per day, so although Monday+Wednesday and Tuesday+Thursday are both 2 day options, their costs are slightly different.

Please note that if you are using our payment plan, our software system will break down the costs by 11% each month. This will make your monthly payment $1-2.5 higher- depending on what program you are registering for- the your last payment will be less. The final cost remains the same.

Financial Policies

• Families registering for ASNC must have an active Hartley membership
• A $50 one time, non-refundable registration fee will be required at the time of registration
• You may pay for the year in total or utilize our monthly payment plan
• Payment is due one month in advance of when services will be rendered, on the first of that month
• The first payment is required on August 1st 2026 and payment plans will end April 1st 2027.
• You may pay online, via check or with cash. Online payments incur a 3% processing fee.

Transportation for the 26-27 School Year

HNC has one van and will provide transportation for students who are registered for Monday-Friday nature club from Congdon Elementary for an additional $5 a day.

If you are interested in the van but can only register for two days a week, please let us know. If the van does not fill we may be able to open up spots for part time students.

Homecroft Elementary
As Hartley is in the Homecroft bussing district, Homecroft families may list Hartley Nature Center, 3001 Woodland Ave, as their afternoon drop off location. Students utilizing this option will be dropped off at the new bus stop at the top of HNC’s driveway and be walked to the building by HNC staff.

We will host an orientation for all students and families can feel safe and comfortable with the drop-off routine.

Homecroft Bus Registration Requirements:

• You must be enrolled in After School Nature Club Monday through Friday to utilize this transportation option. The district will not allow switching bus stops throughout the week.
• You must email the enrollment center at ISD 709 by July 1st to list HNC as your child or children’s bus stop. You may do so by emailing enroll@isd709.org.

Transportation fees

Families utilizing the HNC van for transportation will be charged an additional $5 per child per day. Bussing from Homecroft has no additional cost.

New Parent Orientation
An orientation for new ASNC families will be provided at 5pm on Tuesday, September 8th.

Cancellation Policies

• HNC requires written notice 30 days in advance to the education director if you plan to withdraw your participant(s).
• Tuition is required for those 30 days, regardless of participant attendance. Payments already submitted will not be refunded for that time.
  • Please note that this policy is in place because Nature Club’s staffing model is dependent on the number of participants in the program.
