School / Group Field Trips

Hartley Nature Center serves a variety of school, youth and community groups all year long with a variety of seasonally and age appropriate classes, pre-K through college. Typically classes are 1.5-2 hours in length, and include offerings about the environment, outdoor skills, teamwork and sustainable technologies. Many of these programs are portable and we can bring them to your site! We have a talented staff who will gladly work with your group to customize a program to fit your needs.

See Field Trip Brochure 2022-2023 for more details, including basic program information such as scheduling, costs, and topics.

Programs are available for non-school groups including homeschool and learning pods.

Preschool Educators- Check out the Preschool Field Trip 2022-2023, our preschool program newsletter, for information on our group programs for the younger crowd. Come learn with us! Our outdoor classroom is always ready for the big adventures and unexpected discoveries that teach us to appreciate and understand the world around us.
