Kelly Popham

I am grateful to have grown up here in Duluth building relationships with Gichigami and the beautiful land she is part of. I am a lifelong student of the woods and the rocky beaches, constantly learning from all the brilliant beings around me. Additionally, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and completed the naturalist training program at Wolf Ridge-ELC. My time at Hartley began when I was teaching field trips and subbing in the preschool. This will be my fourth year as a Hartley Nature Preschool teacher. When I’m not teaching, you might find me rock-picking, birding, biking, nibbling on wild foods, dancing, doing a crossword puzzle, or playing with my cat. Pronouns: she/they
